The theme of the 1997 theatrical season was Love and the main show was an interpretation of Plato's Symposium. The Symposium talks about lovers as two separated parts of one whole: "We were once whole and the desire for this ancient unity is called Eros". I used a piece of this masterwork, the chapter about Eros and I typed it in a circle and I broke it in two, then I put the color and the word for love in the middle to rejoin them.- LR
